General Terms and Conditions (GTC) – MintelForge
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders, services, and deliveries of the sole proprietorship MintelForge, owned by Tim Mintel, hereinafter referred to as “we” or “MintelForge.”
Deviating terms and conditions of the customer are not recognized unless we expressly agree to their validity in writing.
2. Services
We offer, among other things, the following services:

3D printing of individual parts and small series

Creation of prototypes and models
-
Production of samples (e.g., 3D-printed cable cross-sections)
-
CAD-based adjustments and simple model edits
Our products are manufactured individually according to customer specifications. Minor deviations in color, surface, or dimensional tolerances are technically unavoidable and do not constitute a defect.
3. Offers and Conclusion of Contract
All offers are non-binding.
A contract is concluded as soon as we confirm the order in writing or begin executing the order.
For custom-made products, we reserve the right to request a deposit before production starts.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are final prices including statutory VAT as soon as our VAT ID is available.
The full invoice amount is due immediately without deduction unless otherwise agreed.

5. Individual Orders / Customer Data
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided (e.g., CAD models, dimensions, technical specifications).
We do not check customer data for technical errors or design flaws.
We assume no liability for damages resulting from faulty models or incomplete information provided by the customer.
6. Production and Delivery Times
Specified delivery or production times are non-binding unless expressly guaranteed.
Delays caused by material shortages, technical problems, or force majeure do not entitle the customer to claims for damages.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is at the customer’s cost and risk.
Risk transfers to the customer as soon as the goods are handed over to the shipping service provider.
Collection by appointment is possible.
8. Warranty
Due to the nature of the 3D printing process, the following factors may occur:

Visible layer lines

Slight dimensional deviations
-
Variations in surface quality
-
Color differences
These do not constitute a defect.
Defects must be reported in writing within 7 days of receipt.
No warranty applies in cases of:

Improper use
-
Overheating, UV exposure, or chemical impact
-
Mechanical overloading of 3D-printed parts
-
Customer design errors
9. Right of Withdrawal
As our products are custom-made, there is no right of withdrawal (§ 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB).
Standard products (if offered) may be returned within 14 days.
10. Liability
We are liable only for damages caused by intent or gross negligence.
We accept no liability for:

Functional testing of printed parts
-
Use in safety-relevant areas (e.g., high voltage, structural engineering, medical applications)
-
Consequential damages resulting from improper use
3D-printed parts are not approved as safety-critical components.
11. Copyright
All models, designs, photos, and content created by us are protected by copyright.
They may not be copied, modified, or distributed without our written consent.
Customer-provided data remains the property of the customer.
12. Data Protection
Our current privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data.
13. Place of Jurisdiction
German law applies.
The place of jurisdiction, insofar as legally permissible, is Kürten / NRW.
14. Final Provisions
If any provision of these GTC is invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
